The Balasore to Jharsuguda bus is the first premium AC sleeper to run from Balasore into western Odisha. It inaugurates on 23 August 2026. The coach leaves Balasore nightly at 7:40 PM and reaches Jharsuguda at 8:52 AM the next morning. The return departs Jharsuguda at 6:10 PM.

The bus carries two decks. The lower deck holds 33 pushback seats. The upper deck holds 15 sleeper berths. That is 48 places a night on a corridor that has waited a long time for a service like this. The route serves the Kalinga Nagar steel belt, then climbs through Deogarh to Sambalpur and on to Jharsuguda.

Online bus ticket booking is open on this site. Pay by UPI or card and your seat is confirmed instantly. A full-run seat is ₹949 and a sleeper berth ₹1,000.
