1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all bus ticket bookings made through Nandighosh Mobility Private Limited (Nandighosh), whether booked via our website, phone, WhatsApp, or authorised agents. We understand that plans can change, and we aim to provide a fair and transparent cancellation process.

2. Cancellation & Refund Tiers

Refund amounts are calculated based on when you cancel relative to the scheduled departure time:

More than 24 hours before departure

90% Refund

10% retained as processing and convenience fee

12 to 24 hours before departure

75% Refund

25% retained as cancellation charge

6 to 12 hours before departure

50% Refund

50% retained as cancellation charge

Less than 6 hours before departure

No Refund

Full fare is forfeited

No-show (failure to board)

No Refund

If you do not board the bus without cancelling, no refund will be provided

3. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of cancellation.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment method used during booking (bank account, UPI, wallet, or card).
  • For bookings made through agents, refunds will be processed through the respective agent.
  • Cash bookings will be refunded via bank transfer. Please provide your bank details when requesting a cancellation.
  • Payment gateway processing fees (if any) are non-refundable.

When requesting a cancellation, please provide your PNR number, passenger name, and journey date.

5. Special Circumstances

In the following situations, passengers are entitled to a full refund or free rebooking on the next available service, regardless of the cancellation tier:

  • Service cancellation by Nandighosh: If we cancel a service for any operational reason, you will receive a full refund or be rebooked at no additional charge.
  • Severe weather conditions: If a service is cancelled or significantly delayed due to cyclones, floods, or other severe weather events.
  • Mechanical breakdown: If the bus develops a mechanical fault that prevents it from completing the journey and an alternative arrangement cannot be made within a reasonable time.
  • Government-imposed restrictions: Curfews, bandhs, road closures, or other government orders that prevent the service from operating.

In all special circumstances, we will notify passengers as early as possible and provide the option of a full refund or rebooking.

6. Partial Journey & Rescheduling

  • If you board the bus and wish to alight at an intermediate stop before your booked destination, no refund for the remaining journey will be provided.
  • Rescheduling (changing the date of travel) is treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking. Cancellation charges as per the tiers above will apply.
  • Seat changes or bus type upgrades are subject to availability and may involve fare differences.
